The enLIGHTen III combines multiple wavelengths with picosecond and nanosecond pulses to address different tattoo pigments. Laser energy breaks ink into smaller particles that the body gradually clears. Tattoo size, colors, depth, age, location, and previous scarring affect the plan; complete clearance cannot be guaranteed.

Skin rejuvenation: A typical initial course may involve 2–3 treatments spaced approximately six weeks apart. Improvements develop gradually. Bonnie will explain the expected timeline and whether maintenance treatments are appropriate for your skin and goals.
Acne and body scars: Treatments are typically spaced approximately six weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on the scar’s type, depth, color, location and healing response. Bonnie will assess the area and explain the proposed course and realistic expectations.
Brow tattoos and microblading: Treatment may involve 1–3 sessions spaced approximately four weeks apart. Pigment color, depth, age, saturation and previous removal treatments can affect the course.
Body tattoos: Sessions are typically spaced approximately eight weeks apart. The number of sessions varies with the tattoo’s size, colors, depth, age, location and previous scarring. Fading develops gradually, with healing time between treatments. Complete clearance cannot be guaranteed.

Pico Genesis treatments are typically well tolerated without numbing, with most clients describing the sensation as brief, tiny zaps against the skin.
For body tattoo removal, over-the-counter topical numbing creams with 5% lidocaine may be considered for comfort when appropriate, used according to product labeling and provider guidance. Discuss comfort measures with Bonnie before treatment so you know what to expect.
Recovery depends on the procedure and treatment intensity. Redness, swelling, and tenderness can occur. Treated spots may look darker at first, then gradually lighten, usually by week 2. Other changes in skin pigmentation are possible, so ask Bonnie what to watch for.
Protect treated skin from direct sun before and after treatments, using SPF 50 to help maintain your results longer. Use clean, organic, minimal skincare products after treatment and wash gently during the first week. After a Pico Genesis session, makeup can usually be worn after 24 hours; remove it with a mild cleanser using very gentle hand motions. You will receive treatment-specific instructions. Review medicines and skincare products before treatment; do not stop prescribed medication without guidance from your prescriber.
Suitability depends on your skin type, the concern being treated, your medical history, and any medicines or skincare products you use. For tattoo and brow-pigment removal, the ink characteristics also matter. These factors should be reviewed during your consultation before a treatment plan is recommended.
For hyperpigmentation, LustreLook recommends that darker skin types (Fitzpatrick V and VI) consider topical fading creams, either over the counter or dermatologist recommended. Pico Genesis for hyperpigmentation is ideal and highly effective for lighter to medium skin tones (Fitzpatrick I to IV).
